January 13, 2016 Executive Meeting Minute

PRESENT: Jason Messenger, Kelly Wilford, Kim Fordham, Julia Pechtal, Jen Meyer

1. SECRETARIES REPORT – Jen Meyer: None

2. TREASURERS REPORT – None

3. VOLUNTEER COORDINATORS REPORT a. Concession Stand Update – Include info in next Lance b. Staff App – Kim Schmidt – Chair Held first week in may Kim F requested master schedule of events c. Book Fair – Kim F – chair Will confirm dates and coordinate with Ange Johnson of media center $ received goes bak to library Asked that books be middle school appropriate

4. PRINCIPAL’S REPORT

  • a. Construction Updates – Cafeteria complete Circle tables forces group discussions, limits exclusion
  • b. Gym floor complete Locker room needs inspection
  • c. MGI space being completed
  • d. Spring time – outdoor work will be completed no outside seating

5. OLD BUSINESS a. Concession food in closet Ordering pizzas b. Grant to pay for Battle of Books – Approx $30 was from PTO budget c. Hoiday gifts for Maintenance and Admin staff – thanks yous recevied from Laurie and Karen d. Electronic sign cost was more than originally estimated. Other venders being persued

6. NEW BUSINESS a. CONCESSIONS PTO requested to sign up for concession slot Coordinating with Key club for volunteers Concession to be added to budget for next year Concession stand process detailed Kelly serving as coordinator by default will need someone to lead next year b. New Career Day – March 4th Michaell Clark – Staff coordinator Christmas “fun” day will be held after career day since construction prohibited before break Need food coordinated for presenters, food donations
